Tester Handout (Plain English)

Thank you for helping us test! This takes about 10 minutes. Just follow the steps below and share your honest thoughts at the end. There are no wrong answers — if something confuses you, that's exactly what we want to know.

Website address: ____________________ (the person guiding you will fill this in)

1. Log in

Use the account you were given, or one of these:

EmailPassword
juan.delacruz@payroll.comEmployee@123
maria.santos@payroll.comEmployee@123

Type the email and password on the login page and sign in — just like logging into an email or social media account.

2. Look at your payslip

  • Find the Payslips section.
  • Open your latest payslip.
  • Have a look at the numbers: your pay, the deductions, and the final take-home amount.
  • If it's already been paid, you may also see the exact amount released to you, with a little status label. That's the system double-checking that what was computed matches what you actually received.
  • Ask yourself: Does this look clear? Is anything confusing or hard to read?

3. Try to open a staff-only area

  • Try clicking Dashboard or Employees.
  • You should be blocked — those areas are only for the payroll staff, not regular employees. If you get stopped, that's the system working correctly, not an error.

4. Leave your feedback

  • Find the Feedback section.
  • Give a star rating from 1 to 5.
  • Add a short comment about your experience.

What we'd love to hear (put this in your comment)

  • Was anything confusing or hard to find?
  • Did any number look wrong or unclear to you?
  • Did anything feel slow, or seem broken?
  • What is one thing that would make it better or easier to use?

A couple of notes

  • Everything is dated June 2026 on purpose — that's just our sample pay period for testing. Don't worry about the date.
  • You may notice some deductions showing ₱0. That's normal — SSS is taken out on the 15th, while PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG are taken out on the 30th, so each payslip only shows the ones due that payday.
  • If the "forgot password" option doesn't work, that's fine for this test — just ask the person guiding you if you get stuck.

That's it — thank you so much for your help! 🙏
